Was there a Season 2 wipe, and when is Season 3?
Update 0.2.0 is Season 2 — Bulkhead’s second seasonal balance pass for WARDOGS Early Access, not a small hotfix. It was announced live on 2026-10-15 (the “SEASON 02 IS NOW LIVE” Steam post is stamped 09:59 UTC), after an estimated 08:00–09:30 UTC maintenance window the patch notes described as about ninety minutes. If you only remember five things: role-track XP to mid levels is much faster (official example: level 20 cumulative XP 250,000 → 111,500); rifle-caliber base damage and Level 3–4 armor mitigation were toned down; Control Zone logistics pay fell by roughly a third to a half (pallets and crates halved; player delivered and return trips less), with new delivery streak bonuses; heavy shop prices moved (tanks and attack helicopters up, AK74 and several staples down); and new guns, vehicles, buildings, rain, and Molotovs landed alongside systems changes from team swaps to controller aim assist. Every number below is transcribed as official Season 2 patch old → new from Steam — not WardogTips in-game testing.
What Is in Update 0.2.0?
Season 2 brings a large content drop: new kit to buy, new fortifications to hammer down, and weather that changes spotting and Molotov reliability.
| Category | Season 2 additions (official patch) |
|---|---|
| Weapons (4) | TCX-SPR (7.62×39 AR, $3,200, Assault LVL 20 / $100k) · PP-19 Bizon (9×19 SMG, $1,000, Medic default) · Evo-3 Ultra (.308 LMG, $7,250, Support LVL 30 / $200k) · M14 (.308 DMR, $7,400, Recon LVL 25 / $100k) |
| Vehicles (4) | Wolf-110 ($2,200, Driver LVL 8 / $50k) · Wolf-110 [M2 Browning] ($7,800, LVL 16 / $125k) · T-72B3 ($16,000, LVL 20 / $250k) · Flakpanzer Gepard ($14,000, LVL 25 / $300k) |
| Buildables (3) | MG Nest (650 supplies, sledge) · Large Shelter (250 supplies, medium hammer) · Wooden Step (small hammer) |
| Throwable | Molotov ($340; Assault LVL 13 / $25k) — splash fire, burns vegetation, weakened in rain |
| Weather | Rain preset: wet surfaces, muffled rain under cover, roof leaks, synced thunder masking footsteps, reduced view distance, weaker Molotov flames |
| Gold Market | Eight skins across four series; Black & Gold Little Bird (S2 limited); Black & Gold AK removed; market unlock WARDOG LVL 35 / $150k |
| Wager Vendor | Not available at S2 launch; planned later in the season (cash-on-performance betting, may be temporary) |
| Other | Steam trading cards in S2 pending Valve review; new optics / muzzle / mag / bipod attachments per patch list |
For how new chassis fit the existing meta, start with the vehicles guide and how to buy a vehicle. Weapon prices and unlock moves overlap the weapons list and best loadout pages — those articles are still on Season 1 numbers until our review queue clears (see the site impact table below).

How Did Combat and Armor Change?
Bulkhead reframed gunfights around lower caliber baselines, slightly weaker Level 3–4 armor, and a suppression rework. DMRs and snipers were retuned so headshots still matter after the caliber pass.
Caliber base damage (S1 → S2)
| Caliber | Base damage change (S1 → S2) |
|---|---|
| .308 Win | −25% |
| 7.62×54mmR | −20% |
| 7.62×39mm | −19% |
| .50 Cal | −16% |
The same percentage cuts apply to vehicle weapons that fire those calibers. The patch names Little Bird AH-6M Minigun, Z20 Lakota Minigun, and Humvee Minigun as examples; it does not assign a specific caliber to each minigun.
Assault rifles and LMGs: torso damage is more even across body zones; AR torso slightly down; LMG torso now matches AR torso. DMR hit-zone damage was rebalanced between AR and sniper; all DMR recoil reworked. Snipers gained hit-zone damage to compensate for caliber cuts.
Armor, helmets, and suppression
| Item | S1 → S2 |
|---|---|
| Level 3 armor / helmet mitigation | 55% → 50% |
| Level 4 armor / helmet mitigation | 65% → 60% |
| Level 4 helmet extras | Muffled sound, close voice muffling, restricted view, sprint fogging |
| Suppression (level 3 helmet) | 68% reduction |
| Suppression (level 4 helmet) | 80% reduction |
Scout Rifle: one headshot kills unhelmeted targets; level 1 helmet needs two headshots.
Parachutes: slower deploy; cannot open below ~10 m; ~50 m openings may not slow enough (fall damage). Basic Parachute $100 → $500; Sport Parachute $1,000 → $700.
Medical Bag durability 100 → 150 (unlock level also moved — see leveling section). Vehicle top-mounted HMG / artillery vs infantry now uses AR/LMG hit rules, not helicopter cannon rules.
Other combat notes from the patch: 12 gauge slugs and compound bow vs armor scale by armor level; MP5 recoil more horizontal; Super-45 drops off harder past 50 m; MGL-40 velocity −25%; Mosin gets exclusive PU 91/30 scope; infrared rangefinder is battery-powered (~80 s continuous per cell).
Cross-check tables on the TTK and damage chart — that page still lists Season 1 values until updated.

How Did the Economy Change?
Rewards were rebalanced so logistics pays less per drop, vehicle kills pay less on headline tanks and helis, spotting pays about 30% less, and crate selling has anti-farming rules. Bulkhead’s note: logistics figures below are what players earn when deploying inside a Control Zone (not the earlier base design values).
Logistics payouts (S1 → S2)
| Action | Cash (S1 → S2) | XP (S1 → S2) |
|---|---|---|
| Deploy supply pallet | $2,500 → $1,250 | 500 → 400 (ground vehicle source XP 750 → 500) |
| Deploy supply crate (small / large) | $500 → $250 / $1,000 → $500 | 250 → 200 / 500 → 400 (air: 200 → 150 / 400 → 300) |
| Player delivered | $150 → $100 | 50 → 25 |
| Player delivered (ground vehicle) | $500 → $350 | (XP not listed separately) |
| Return trip (ground) | $250 → $150 | 100 → 50 |
New delivery streak bonuses (official): crates +$100 / +50 XP per consecutive crate, max 10; pallets +$250 / +100 XP per consecutive pallet, max 10; players +$25 / +5 XP per consecutive rider, max 25; return trips +$50 / +25 XP per consecutive trip, max 10.
Supply pallets now require WARDOG track unlocks (Mechanical LVL 5 / $10k, Ammo LVL 9 / $25k, Fuel LVL 16 / $50k) where Season 1 had them by default — a hidden tax on logistics and pilot money routes.
Headline vehicle destroy rewards (cash)
| Vehicle | S1 → S2 |
|---|---|
| Havoc | $18,000 → $14,000 |
| L2A6 | $14,000 → $11,000 |
| SPH-2 | $14,000 → $8,000 |
| MH-6 | $3,125 → $1,250 |
| Little Bird AH-6M [Miniguns] | $6,000 (S2 value listed) |
| AH-6R [Rockets] | $9,400 |
| New: Wolf-110 / M2 / Gepard / T-72B3 | $450 / $3,900 / $7,000 / $8,000 |
Spotting: rewards about 30% lower than Season 1, scaled to target value; destroyed spotted targets 50% → 25% of base reward.
Anti-abuse (official): recon and destroy-building rewards scale with build progress; supply crate sales pay diminishing returns per unique buyer until no profit and no XP; selling to enemies after team swaps pays nothing; empty enemy crates pay half destroy reward.
Assault weapon kill bonus $1,500 → $2,000. FOB hack still $2,500 / 250 XP for the hacker; teammates inside FOB radius gain $1,000 / 250 XP. Destroy enemy FOB up to +$7,500 / +250 XP (25,000 supply cap).
Our money-making guide and helicopter pilot guide were refreshed on 2026-10-20 for these lines; older video frames may still show $2,500 pallet pop-ups from Season 1 footage.

What Got Cheaper and What Got More Expensive?
The patch moved dozens of vendor lines. Below are the headline prices most players shop for every match — not the full attachment spreadsheet.
Major price increases (S1 → S2)
| Item | S1 → S2 |
|---|---|
| L2A6 | $14,000 → $22,000 |
| Havoc | $18,000 → $28,000 |
| Level 3 armor / helmet | $2,000 → $2,500 / $1,500 → $2,000 |
| Level 4 armor / helmet | $4,000 → $5,000 / $3,000 → $4,500 |
| AMR 50 | $8,800 → $14,800 |
| Super-45 | $2,600 → $5,600 |
| Little Bird AH-6M [Miniguns] | $7,000 → $12,000 |
| AH-6R [Rockets] | $12,500 → $18,800 |
| Z20 Lakota [Miniguns] | $8,000 → $15,000 |
| Basic Parachute | $100 → $500 |
Major price decreases (S1 → S2)
| Item | S1 → S2 |
|---|---|
| AK74 | $1,600 → $800 (now Assault default unlock) |
| PKM | $4,500 → $4,100 |
| RPG-7 | $2,000 → $1,800 |
| MAAWS | $2,600 → $2,400 |
| FAL | $6,500 → $6,000 |
| Medical Bag | $2,000 → $1,800 |
| Sport Parachute | $1,000 → $700 |
| Halligan | $1,100 → $885 |
New weapon sticker prices: PP-19 Bizon $1,000, TCX-SPR $3,200, Evo-3 Ultra $7,250, M14 $7,400, Molotov $340. The patch did not list changes to pallet/crate purchase prices at the vendor — do not assume the old $400 pallet quote from Season 1 videos still applies without checking your live vendor.

How Did Leveling and Unlocks Change?
Season 2 makes the role tracks much faster — Bulkhead stated reaching level 20 should take under half the Season 1 time.
Cumulative role-track XP (official S1 → S2)
| Level | S1 (patch-listed) → S2 | Official “faster by” |
|---|---|---|
| 10 | 35,000 → 25,000 | ~29% |
| 15 | 110,000 → 54,750 | ~50% |
| 20 | 250,000 → 111,500 | ~55% |
| 25 | 365,000 → 206,600 | ~43% |
| 30 | 500,000 → 318,200 | ~36% |
| 35 | 750,000 → 525,000 | ~30% |
| 40 | 975,000 → 712,500 | ~27% |
| 45 | 1,225,000 → 920,850 | ~25% |
| 50 | 1,500,000 → 1,150,000 | ~23% |
The “S1” column is what the Season 2 patch itself printed as the old value, not a WardogTips re-measurement. Third-party Season 1 tables sometimes disagree on individual bands — when in doubt, trust the patch pair.
Selected unlock moves (old → new)
- WARDOG: Mechanical / Ammo / Fuel pallets now LVL 5 / 9 / 16 with unlock fees (S1: default). Gold Market LVL 35 / $150k. Level 3 helmet and armor LVL 60 → 70.
- Assault: C4 + detonator to Assault LVL 4 (from Support 2); Molotov LVL 13 / $25k; TCX-SPR LVL 20 / $100k; AK74 default (was LVL 3 / $10k); M4 LVL 20 → 28, $100k → $150k.
- Medic: Medical Bag LVL 24 → 14, $75k → $50k; MP5 LVL 15 → 4; PP-19 Bizon default; Defibrillator LVL 11 → 22.
- Support: PKM LVL 30 → 15, $150k → $100k; M249 LVL 15 → 20, $100k → $150k; Evo-3 Ultra LVL 30 / $200k.
- Pilot: Little Bird minigun LVL 4 → 8, $50k → $125k; Havoc unlock fee $500k → $650k (separate from shop price above).
- Driver: all four new vehicles as listed; SPH-2 moved to Driver LVL 31 (was WARDOG LVL 90), $500k → $350k.
Plan routes with the XP leveling guide — its tables still show Season 1 XP until our scheduled pass.

What Changed for Building and FOBs?
Fortifications cost more supplies in hot lanes, doors and gates are harder to rush, and anti-air / mortar emplacements were repriced. Drill rigs burn oil faster but hold more fuel.
Build supply costs (S1 → S2)
| Piece | S1 → S2 |
|---|---|
| Wood Base | 15 (new listing) |
| Bremmer wall | 15 → 32 |
| Door | 22 → 80 |
| Gate | 85 → 200 |
| Bunker / crow’s nest | 100 → 200 |
| L81 mortar | 150 → 600 |
| Stingray | 150 → 650 |
| Talon 9K-SAM | 1,000 → 650 |
| Vanguard CIWS | 1,500 → 1,200 |
| Hot Zone Magnet | 2,250 → 2,750 |
| MG Nest / Large Shelter | 650 / 250 (new) |
Doors and gates cannot be hammered open; Halligan bars break them (Halligan uses 5 → 7, new $100 cash per door break). Unfinished wood and unsupported bases collapse immediately. Talon reload 2 s → 5 s; Talon resupply 50 → 200. Mortar resupply 75 → 150 with slower tube loading animation.
Drill Rig: minimum fuel to start 1,500 → 2,000; duration per fuel unit 0.05 → 0.03 (max run 375 s → 300 s at cap); max fuel 7,500 → 10,000; destroyed rig respawn cooldown much longer.
Walkthroughs: FOB building, anti-air FOB, mortar walkthrough.

What Changed in Team Play, Servers, and Controllers?
Quality-of-life and fairness systems landed alongside the balance pass.
Team swapping: when any team is more than 10 points ahead, after you join a team you cannot swap again for 15 minutes. Swappers and mid-match joiners see a fogged map until first Control Zone arrival and cannot use spawn vehicles until then.
Team kills: victims vote Forgive / Punish; repeated punishments escalate to kick and timed bans; leaving spawn without voting auto-forgives.
UI / flow: Squad Intent UI, queued invites, Rebuy Last Loadout rework, server seeding rewards + pre-match entertainment, regional ping caps (exceeding limits kicks you until next map rotation; browser shows ping; community hosts can set caps). Bakurani spawn points for all three factions moved/rebuilt.
Vehicles: purchased spawn inventory defaults private to driver + squad (can open to all after full unlock); free team refresh inventory stays public. Tracks feel heavier; Humvee handling reworked; Dune Buggy brakes weaker; enclosed seats block throwables/placed items.
Controllers: Aim Assist strength slider (Settings > Controller > Advanced, default 1, 0 = off); sensitivity and aim acceleration retuned; multiple rebinds (e.g., deploy crate on D-pad up hold). Fixed cooking grenades with X on pad.
Faction experiment: Lonestar team-wide cash/XP win bonus was removed 2026-10-16 (Reported via press covering CEO video). 20% shop discount when trailing second place by ≥40 points remains in patch text. Compare console timing in console crossplay status (updated 2026-10-20).

From Official @WARDOGS (2026-10-17): ✂ “Season 2 was meant to be a fresh start, and for a lot of you it hasn’t felt like one.” ✂ “We won’t be doing a knee jerk reset this weekend…” ✂ “Instead, we’re looking at significantly bringing forward Season 3 and some of its content, so you get a proper fresh start.”
Wipe wording: Bulkhead’s own X posts describe Season 2 as a cash and XP wipe season (cash converts to gold bars). That is not duplicated inside the Steam patch bullet list, and there is no public item-by-item reset sheet. We link out rather than argue the point here — read the evidence ledger on wipe schedule page.

What We Have and Have Not Verified
Method: We copied numeric pairs from Bulkhead’s Steam announcement WARDOGS | Season 02 Patch Notes (gid 1846651706674560, dated 2026-10-14), cross-checked launch timing against SEASON 02 IS NOW LIVE (gid 1846651706677015, 2026-10-15 09:59 UTC), and aligned post-launch statements with archived official X posts (2026-10-02 CEO Joe Brammer wipe reply on @Brammflakes; 2026-10-17 @WARDOGS Season 3 thread). We did not run a private Season 2 playtest — no TTK timing, no live pallet HUD screenshots, no measured time-to-level.
Not verified or not announced:
- Whether paid unlock fees or owned gear reset beyond cash/XP (official only states cash + XP wipe language on X).
- Season 3 calendar date, Wager Vendor opening, Primitive / limited server rules, or dev vlog contents.
- In-game presence / deployment bonus numbers ($180 pallet aura, +$300 tactical deployment, etc.) — not in the S2 patch.
- Destroy pallet $1,800 secondary payout, spawn vehicle zone ~$3,000 loops, sniper $20,000 anecdotes — still Season 1 video / community territory.
- Xbox ↔ Steam crossplay confirmation (store tags ≠ PC interoperability).
- A new client build number after Update 0.2.0 for the 10/16 policy reversals (we found no public version bump announcement).
When Bulkhead ships the next Steam news item, we will extend the timeline section and re-run the site impact table.
