FAQ

How many weapons are in WARDOGS?
37 weapons shipped at Early Access launch, per Bulkhead's own "10 Reasons NOT to Buy" devlog. This page lists every weapon we can name from evidence — 27 named entries plus two unnamed starter slots — and refuses to pad the remainder with invented names until a source we would cite enumerates them.
How much does the FAL cost in WARDOGS?
We verified $6,500 on the live Season 1 build, and that is the number we publish. The $5,500 figure circulating on community sites predates launch, and Season 1 raised vendor prices — which is exactly why the two numbers disagree. Both stay visible in the table with their build stamps.
What is the best budget weapon in WARDOGS?
The A-91 is free, and community guides champion the T-21 at a reported $600–$800. On our own verified numbers, the $2,600 MP5A3 is the close-range pick and the $3,800 AK-74M is the all-round starter — 3-shot kill unarmored, low recoil. The full builds are in our best loadouts guide.
Do you keep weapons between matches in WARDOGS?
No. Cash persists between matches but your loadout is repurchased every deployment, and surviving to tick 20 refunds roughly 90 percent of what you spent. That is why every price on this page matters — budget discipline, not ownership, is the skill being tested.

The launch arsenal is 37 weapons and 21 vehicles, and that number comes from the developer’s own pre-launch devlog — “10 Reasons NOT to Buy”. This page is the promised follow-up: the full weapons table the original overview only hinted at, built the way this site builds everything. Every price figure carries its provenance; where community sources disagree with each other or with our own screenshots, the conflict is printed instead of quietly resolved. The damage columns reuse our verified TTK and damage chart — no number in the table exists in only one place.

The Full Launch Arsenal, One Table

Filter by weapon class or by data status. The Confirmed badge means every key figure in the row is backed by site evidence — a live-build benchmark, an on-screen vendor frame, or the official Season 1 changelog. Community-reported means the figure comes from guides and testers’ videos that our pages cite but that we have not reproduced in-game ourselves.

Three reading notes. First, an em-dash means we have no evidence for that cell — not that the value is zero or doesn’t matter. Second, the two price tags on one row are the arbitration feature: disagreeing sources stay side by side, each stamped with the build it came from. Third, STK reads left to right as unarmored → Level 1 → Level 2 → Level 3 armor, straight from the verified matrix.

How the Status Tracks and Build Stamps Work

  • Confirmed (site evidence) — prices and gates read off vendor screens, stats from our live-build TTK benchmark, or lines quoted from the official changelog. When a figure has a build stamp, it says so: live build (the current Season 1 client), beta frame (screenshots stamped WARDOGS BETA, Aug 21 2026, CL-491020), or official changelog.
  • Community-reported — the number exists only in guides and videos we link, by testers we name. We print it without endorsing it, exactly the standard our best loadout guide set for the T-21.
  • gameVersion stamp — this page is compiled for Season 1 of Early Access. Bulkhead has already moved vendor prices once (the Season 1 changelog raised them across the board), so treat every figure as version-stamped, not permanent.

Price Conflicts, Arbitrated

This is the section that makes the page. Community sites disagree on weapon prices because most of them transcribed pre-launch or beta data; the Season 1 changelog then moved prices officially. Instead of picking a winner silently, here is every conflict we know of, both figures, and the ruling:

WeaponTrack ATrack BOur arbitration
FAL 50.00$6,500 — site-verified on the live build (our TTK chart benchmark)$5,500 — pre-launch community figurePublish $6,500. It is the only live-verified number, and Season 1 raised vendor prices — the direction agrees.
AK-74M (AK74)$3,800 — site-verified live benchmark$1,600 — our own beta vendor framePublish $3,800. Both figures are site-side; the beta one simply predates the Season 1 raises.
T-21$800 — our own beta vendor frame$600 — community launch consensus (three guides)Publish both. Neither is live-verified; the $600 consensus may reflect a post-Season-1 drop or a wrong build. Re-verify in-game first.

The same method settled a bigger conflict on our vehicle pages — the Season 1 patch notes rename versus the vendor’s card names for the L2A6 and SPH-2 — by going back to the frames. One naming note here too: the vendor writes AK74, our TTK benchmark writes AK-74M, and no official source disambiguates the two. We treat them as one weapon with inconsistent naming across sources; if a future patch proves them distinct, the table splits.

What the Verified Numbers Say

The class story, in four paragraphs, all grounded in the TTK matrix:

  • Battle calibers beat armor. Against Level 3 plates the 7.62×51mm battle rifles are a different tier: the FAL kills in 3 shots at 184 ms, the G3A3 in 218 ms, while 5.56mm rifles need 5–6 shots and 375–461 ms. That is why the FAL is the premium squad pick at $6,500 and why armor-first budgeting works — the best class guide feeds this ladder directly.
  • The assault ladder is a budget staircase. Free A-91 → T-21 → AK74 → Galil (assault 10) → M4 (assault 20) → FAL (assault 35). Each rung is cheap relative to the refund economy, and the XP leveling guide covers how fast those gates arrive.
  • SMGs win the fights you actually take early. The MP5A3 at $2,600 kills unarmored targets in 140 ms with laser-accurate hipfire — FOB doorway defense, stairwells, bunker clearing. Above Level 2 armor their pistol calibers fall off hard; carry one, don’t main one.
  • The marksman track is recon-gated. SKS at recon 5 ($2,400 on our beta frame), Mosin at 10, SVD at 12, BMR-308 at 30 — the zero-kill route to all four is in our sniper unlock walkthrough.

On the support side the table shrinks to tools that print money: the IED at a reported $300 cooks off tanks and kills FOBs for pocket change, the RPG-7 ($30,000 at support 5 on our frame) works the flanks, and the MAAWS ends tank arguments from the rear. The full kill math is the anti-tank guide. Whatever you buy, an optic that grants an ADS speed improvement is the first attachment purchase — the rules are in the best optic guide.

The 37-Count Ledger

The developer’s devlog confirms 37 weapons at launch; it does not publish the per-item list. This page’s answer is a ledger instead of a guess:

  • 29 evidence-backed rows in the table above — 27 named weapons plus the 2 starter slots (scout rifle, support shotgun) that every source confirms exist but none names.
  • 8+ slots unnamed. Whether the devlog’s 37 counts launchers and explosives changes the arithmetic; either way, the remaining names appear in no source we would cite.
  • We do not pad the list. A 37-row table with invented names would rank better for a week and destroy the site’s one asset: trust in its numbers. The table grows the moment a citable source — an official post, our own vendor frames — names another weapon.

What We Still Cannot Tell You

  • Prices for most of the matrix — G36K, SCAR-L, G3A3, M14 EBR, MP7A1, P90 TR and Vector have no price evidence at any build. The vendor frames that named the AK74 ladder did not show their cards.
  • The sidearm shelf — the Deagle gates at career 85 per the official changelog, and one tester’s video pairs a Glock with a 33-round extended magazine. That is the entire evidence file.
  • Armor, meds and backpack prices — community-reported ranges only (best loadout guide keeps that list honest).
  • The meta. Whatever tier list you read from launch week is noise until thousands of matches exist; the loadout page’s community-meta section will absorb the consensus once it stabilizes.

For the spending plan around this table — what to buy first, what to skip — start at the beginner’s guide to the economy, then the best loadout builds. Frame-rate problems make every gun in the table worse: the best settings priorities are still the cheapest performance upgrade.
